Service & Warranty Details:

At Micks Gone Bush, we aim to provide the best service all round even when things go pear shaped we strive to get the best solution we can.

Do not send the item back with out contacting us first. We have a network of warehouses Australia wide and sending the item to the incorrect location will cause a delay in the warranty and refund turnaround time.

Some product warranties may be handled directly by the manufacturer as they have specialist teams dedicated to the warranty and technical support regarding their products. They will also have their own service agents that meet their warranty standards. These products will need to be produced with the original packages if possible. 

Submitting a warranty claim-

  1. Contact Micks Gone Bush via and give all the details you can as to the nature of the product not working. Photos and diagrams will make this process quicker.  

  2. We will try to confirm whether the product is defective through simple testing. However, in certain situations, you may be required to send the product to us for in depth testing and analysis.

  3. Once the item has been confirmed to indeed be defective, it will be repaired or replaced under the warranty terms above.  

  4. If you sent the product to us and it is deemed to be functional, you have the choice to have the product returned to you at your own cost. 

Shipping and tracking

Please be aware that if you have ordered multiple items from our website, your order may arrive in separate parcels on different days as they may have come from different warehouse locations.   

For any of our service departments to assist you quickly in the case of a claim, please be sure to have your original order or tax invoice number on hand when you ring. This is the number on the top of the invoice.

Please understand that tracking can take up to 24-48hrs to register. Please try again after that period. If the tracking is still not registering a scan, please contact us  mick 

What if some items are damaged when I received them?

All items that leave either our warehouses are adequately packed and sent in good working condition. However, if you receive an item that has been damaged in transit, you must contact us and advise us of the situation within 48 hours of receipt of the item. Photos will need to be provided to the shipping company, so it will speed up the process if they are sent in the first point of contact. Be sure to keep all original packing materials and documentation including the delivery consignment note. If the goods are visibly damaged on receipt, please have the driver make a note on the shipper's consignment note and take of photo of the damaged item/s.

Return Policy

In some rare instances, you may need some help with a return. Don't worry! The following information will help you process your return. For specific product warranty and delivery information check individual product pages.

Return Authorization Code Required

No returned merchandise will be accepted without a Return Authorization Code, Please contact our customer service centre via email at to obtain a Return Authorization Code and shipping instructions. We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within 5 business days of receiving the returned item.

Unopened Products

You may return any "unopened" products and accessories within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Please send the item back to us in its original condition and packaging and we’ll refund your purchase price. The freight charges will need to be covered by the customer and a restocking fee equivalent to 20% of the purchase price will apply. This is non-negotiable ! !

Change Of Mind Retuns

It is important to note that Consumer Guarantees do not apply if you simply changed your mind, found the item cheaper elsewhere, decided you did not like the purchase, or had no use for it, so please check the product listing carefully at the time of purchase. 

Opened Products

"Opened" products and accessories can be returned within 14 days of delivery and will be subject to a restocking fee equivalent to 35% of the purchase price to cover testing, cleaning and repackaging expenses. Simply return the item to us, shipping prepaid & using the most convenient shipping method available to you. Opened returns must be in saleable condition with original materials and packaging. Exception:  Battery's can't be returned after they have been opened as it is not possible to repackage them as new.

Installed Products

If a fault or issue is identified with an "Installed" product, the product will need to be taken to a manufacturer approved service/warranty agent for inspection and diagnosis of the issue. Once the fault is identified by the service/warranty agent as either DOA or a warrantable defect, the manufacturer will offer a solution via the service/warranty agent.

Cancelled Orders

An order that has been shipped cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy.

Damaged Products

You must take the time to inspect the goods before you sign the delivery receipt from the carrier. If you sign the delivery receipt without inspecting the shipment you will be responsible for filing a freight claim and arranging for a repair or return of the damaged goods. 

Suspect Damage

On occasion, the outer carton may look damaged, but the product inside the box is perfectly fine. If you suspect concealed damage, notate "Possible Freight Damage" on the delivery receipt while the driver is present. This way, if you discover later that the product is damaged, the remedy of a freight claim is less of a hassle.

Obvious Damage

Do not sign for damaged products. If your product arrives damaged, please (a) REFUSE DELIVERY and (b) Contact us at your earliest convenience so we can process the appropriate claims and coordinate an exchange for you.

Defective/Faulty Products

We encourage you to test your product within 15 days of receipt so we can quickly remedy any mechanical problems. If you think your product is defective, don't worry. In most cases, it's a simple issue that can be resolved over the phone. 

In the event a product fault or defect cannot be resolved over the phone, please Contact Us so we can arrange either your choice of: product inspection under warranty and repair, a replacement, or refund.   

You are also always welcome to contact the manufacturer's customer service departments. They have expert technicians standing by to help solve your issue. Please have your model number and serial number available for fastest service.

Incorrect Item

In the event that the incorrect item is delivered, please Contact Us so we can arrange and coordinate either your choice of replacement or refund.   


Used Products

Products that have been used can not be returned. They come with manufacturer's warranty. 

Australian Law

Micks Gone Bush warranty procedure is provided in addition to the other rights held by a consumer under Australian Law.

Under these laws you are entitled, as a consumer, to a replacement or refund if a product does not perform as it was advertised to, and for compensation of reasonable damages or losses incurred. You are also entitled to product replacement or repair if the products are deemed to not be usable or failure does not result in completely non-usable products.

Warranty Exclusions

Conditions and warranties are excluded to the extent that they are permitted by law. The warranty conditions set out by Micks Gone Bush are considered null and void if a defect, malfunction, or failure is caused by:

  • Negligence in following proper product installation, operation, or repair/maintenance instructions/protocols.

  • Use of a product for purposes other than those it was created or designed for.

  • Neglect, poor handling, and/or accidental damage.

  • Third-party alterations, repairs, and “mods”/modifications without the expressed written permission.

  • Tampering or variations to product markings and labelling (e.g. warranty stickers, serial numbers, etc.).

  • Contaminations of products by foreign matter, foreign material, or other products.

  • Incorrect charging methods, such as overcharging and undercharging. 

Other Non-Included Warranty Items

  Any property or personal damage/injury, direct/indirect loss, consequential losses, and supplementary expenses are excluded to the extent that they are permitted by law.

  • Changes in product condition or operational ability resulting from incorrect storage, fitting, application, maintenance, environment, or others as described and permitted by law.

  • Extreme weather conditions.

Other Conditions

The first date of purchase is when the warranty period begins. Warranty periods will NOT be renewed or extended after a product repair or replacement. 

  • You must produce the sales receipt of the product as proof of purchase when a warranty claim is made, otherwise, we do not hold liability to replace or repair a product.

  • Warranties are only offered to the original end user of the purchased product. Warranties are not transferable to another party.

  • Warranty terms only apply to products purchased directly through Micks Gone Bush or authorised resellers.
