Crafted from high-temperature silica material, it is designed to control under-hood temperatures and reduce turbo lag. Each turbo bag is reinforced with Kevlar stitching for added durability.
Specifically designed for the Ford XR6 BA/BF/FG with the turbo Barra engine using the factory turbocharger, this product also suits most GT30/GT35 frame turbochargers with an internal wastegate actuator. Universal replacement turbo bag springs are available (AF59-2100).
The internal temperature rating of these bags is up to 1370°C (2500°F), while the external rating is up to 600°C (1100°F). Please note: when installing the turbo bag over the turbocharger exhaust housing, do not over-tighten; a loose fit is sufficient.
